New Video: Beginners Guide to the I2C/SPI Level Shifter Board

Our latest video feature has our Level Shifter Board in the spotlight. The Level Shifter Board was created to shift voltage levels from a standard 5-volt application to lower voltage levels when working with the Aardvark I2C/SPI Host Adapter, the Beagle I2C/SPI Protocol Analyzer, and the Cheetah SPI Host Adapter

With an ability to shift logic levels from 3.3 to 1.2 volts, the board is a must-have tool for applications requiring low-voltage programming or debugging. Check out this video for a more detailed walk-through of the board:

Flash Center Software Series: Operations to Erase, Program, and Verify Memory Devices

The Flash Center Software is an industry-leading innovation that allows embedded engineers to quickly program their I2C and SPI EEPROMs and Flash memory devices. The software natively supports hundreds of widely-used memory devices and provides easy-to-use operations to program, verify, read, and erase such devices. With this software, engineers can easily test and prototype products or even mass program hundreds of devices within production line settings.

In this blog post, we discuss the Program, Verify, Read, and Erase operations of the Flash Center Software and how to use them. Read the full blog here:

Product Spotlight: Promira Serial Platform

quotation

This is a great tool for development. Easy to attach to target boards. Good, simple software API. The extra GPIO and variable target and I/O voltages [as compared to Aardvark] are extremely useful in my dev/test environment.
