New Case Study: AVADirect and Komodo CAN Duo Interface

In our most recent case study, we explore how AVADirect Custom Computers, a company whose mission is create and provide cutting-edge, tailored-made computing solutions for their customers, integrated the Komodo CAN Duo Interface into a custom computing solution for a major forklift manufacturing client.

This client came to AVADirect for help with designing and building a custom computing solution for their virtual reality-specific forklift simulator. Within their setup, this client required a plug-and-play, cost-effective tool with a serial port connection to translate all of the forklift movements and CAN data over to a PC that ran the training simulation software. AVADirect used the Komodo CAN Duo Interface to address this need.

Featured Video: Programming SPI Flash Memory with the Promira Serial Platform

The Promira Serial Platform is one of the embedded market's most advanced and versatile I2C and SPI host adapters. The application-based platform is the perfect tool for embedded systems programming and debugging as it can support speeds up to 80 MHz.

In this video, we show how the Promira Serial Platform can be used to quickly program SPI-based Flash memory, a common memory programming application, in just a few simple steps.

Featured Blogs: Learn more about I2C, SPI, USB, CAN, and Cable Testing

Being involved in the High-speed world of technology, it can be hard to stay up to date on all the latest trends and new technologies. Staying informed and knowledgeable on specific topics, however, can be beneficial. We at Total Phase offer various types of resources to help embedded engineers stay informed on industry topics and trends.

As a part of these efforts, we've put together a series of blogs on how embedded systems function, particularly focusing on the protocols we support. At Total Phase, we offer I2C, SPI, USB, CAN, and Cable Testing tools to help engineers debug, develop, and program systems quickly and easily. If you are new to these protocols or are planning on using them in the future, check out our blog posts to learn more about how they work and ways to interface and debug such systems.

quotation

Completely lived up to my expectations, just plug it in, install the software, and go. The Data Center Software was intuitive and easy to configure, and I was into debugging my I2C issues within 10 minutes of opening the box.
