The Advanced Cable Tester v2 Connector Module: USB 3.1 Standard-A to Lightning USB2 enables testing of cables with USB 2.0 Standard-A on one cable end and Apple Lightning USB2 on the other cable end using the Total Phase Advanced Cable Tester v2.
- Verify proper power on for the Lightning plug
- Individually measure the DC resistance of VBUS and GND
- Verify wiring is correct with no shorted or disconnected wires
- Signal Integrity testing of USB 2.0 pairs is supported at about 518 Mbps
- Quiescent current test pass/fail reported
- Over-voltage protection test pass/fail reported
- Voltage recovery test pass/fail reported
- This is all you will need for testing USB Standard-A to Lightning USB2 cables
