The Advanced Cable Tester v2 is an affordable, easy-to-use cable testing solution that comprehensively tests a variety of cables, including USB, Apple Lightning, and video.

Comprehensive Tests


 Continuity 

  • Verify wiring is correct with no shorted or disconnected wires
 
  • Dynamic visualization of test results

DC Resistance 

  • Individually measure the DC resistance of VBUS and GND wires
 
  • Non High-Speed and SuperSpeed wires (VCONN, SBU, SBU2, CC)

Signal Integrity 

  • Testing of USB 2.0 pairs and any present SuperSpeed pairs at 5 Gbps or 10 Gbps
 
  • Eye Diagrams with masks per cable specifications to accompany signal integrity assessments

E-Marker Validation 

  • Validate E-Marker accuracy (USB Type-C to USB Type-C)

Quiescent Current 

  • Measure quiescent current consumption (USB Type-C to USB Type-C)
