We are pleased to announce the latest release of Data Center Software 6.0! Data Center Software 6.0 features support for the Komodo CAN Duo Interface, the newest addition to our line of embedded development tools for USB, I2C, SPI, and CAN.

The Komodo CAN Duo Interface is a two-channel, USB-to-CAN adapter capable of monitoring and actively transmitting CAN data simultaneously. When the Komodo interface was released in July 2011, the Total Phase support team released the Komodo GUI software, providing users a GUI for polling and sending data on the CAN bus. With this latest upgrade to the Data Center Software, engineers can now monitor CAN devices with the Komodo just as they have done with Beagle protocol analyzers for USB, I2C, and SPI data.

Engineers can utilize handy features including the Bus Pane, Statistics Pane, and LiveFilter Tool to pin-point and analyze specific CAN data. Additionally, the Data Center Software's transaction window provides a clean and easy-to-use interface for developers to see details of data packets and transactions as they appear on the bus. The Komodo interface's two independent and customizable CAN channels allow users to configure each CAN channel to monitor and send CAN data concurrently. Data Center 6.0 features the unique ability to differentiate CAN traffic which was observed versus traffic which was actively generated by the Komodo interface, allowing users to capture bus activity and identify the Komodo interface's actions.
