Q: I have an Aardvark I2C/SPI Host Adapter. I have been able to monitor I2C traffic up to approximately 300 kbps, but now I need to monitor at 400 kbps. Can I make Aardvark adapter work at this speed or are there other options?

Q: We need to deploy SPI Host Adapters in our production line. Can you verify the Cheetah SPI Host Adapter support the following key factors for our production?

Q: I tested our SPI SFlash with the Aardvark I2C/SPI Host Adapter and Flash Center Software.  For that test, I modified the XML file and it works. The erase time is approximately 110 seconds, which is within specifications. The read time is more than 600 seconds, which I did not expect. I checked the clock frequency and it is 8 MHz, within Aardvark specifications.

Q: I am using an Aardvark I2C/SPI Host Adapter and the Control Center Software. I am trying to sent one byte data 0x55 from my board (Master) to the 10-bit slave address (0x3FF). Doing this, I saw ACK was missing after the first byte of the address from the host adapter slave (Aardvark adapter) with the address(0x3FF) configured to Slave Address blank. The picture below shows the results on an oscilloscope.

Q: I am working on an embedded machine that supports fast SPI signals at 1.8V logic levels, and I'm trying to communicate with a device that supports SPI at 3V logic levels. The SPI (serial peripheral connection interface) communication will be at 8MHz.

Q: We are using an Aardvark I2C/SPI Host Adapter in our test setup to read a GPIO pin and act as an SPI Master.  I observed there is a delay of approx. 7μs between bytes in the SPI transfer.  This delay seems to be present when I use the Control Center Software to drive the device, and also when I use the API functions to configure the device.  Is this a fundamental limitation of the device?  Ideally we would like to perform full duplex SPI transfers of up to 40 bytes at 4MHz with no inter-byte gaps.
