Komodo CAN Duo Interface

The wait is over! The Komodo™ CAN Duo Interface will be shipping on or after this Friday, July 15, 2011, and pre-orders are currently being accepted. The Komodo interface is a real-time adapter and analyzer for the CAN (Controller-Area Network) protocol.

The easily-portable Komodo interface is fully bus-powered with a transfer rate up to 1 Mbps and features two independently customizable CAN channels. In addition, the Komodo has two USB interfaces and two CAN channels. This unique architecture allows Komodo users to connect each CAN channel to both USB interfaces, allowing them to send data to both CAN channels from a single USB interface while monitoring the same channels from the second USB interface.

CAN/I2C Activity Board

The CAN/I2C Activity Board is a stable test board that will also be available! The board will includes a variety of peripherals such as a LCD screen, accelerometer, temperature sensor, light sensor, and joystick. The activity board is priced at $120 USD.

The Komodo CAN Duo Interface comes with cross-platform support and a free API. The API and a simple analysis GUI will be available upon release, with Data Center support coming later this fall. The Komodo will be priced at $450 USD and will ship on or after Friday, July 15, 2011. However, order before September 30th, 2011, and get your Komodo for only $350 USD!
