Total Phase's Flash Center Software Expanded to Include All Spansion Serial NOR Memory

DesignWest Conference, San Jose, CA - Monday, April 22, 2013 - Total Phase, a provider of industry-leading USB, I2C, SPI, and CAN embedded systems tools, announced their Flash Center Software has been expanded to include out-of-the-box support for all Spansion Serial NOR Flash memory. The Flash Center Software is designed to work with the Aardvark I2C/SPI Host Adapter and the Cheetah SPI Host Adapter. The software features a built-in part file library that allows users to quickly select their part for quick and easy programming for I2C and SPI-based flash memories and EEPROMs.

Through working closely with Spansion, the Flash Center software now offers complete access to the Spansion Serial NOR memory line (ranging in densities from 4Mb-512Mb) in the built-in part library. Programming Spansion Serial Flash memory will now be faster and easier than ever.

“Our collaboration with Total Phase has already enabled a number of specific customer applications that incorporate Spansion Serial NOR products in a variety of microprocessor and FPGA-based systems,” said Max Willis, Division Marketing Manager at Spansion. “The Total Phase Cheetah SPI adapter with the Flash Center programming software is an effective and easy-to-use in-system and stand-alone programming tool. We’re happy to have XML support for the latest Spansion Serial Flash available directly from Total Phase.”

"Total Phase’s goal is to provide our customers with easy-to-use tools that allow them to work more efficiently, getting their projects done on time. With the addition of XML support for Spansion products to the Flash Center Software, programming can be done faster and easier than ever,” said Gil Ben-Dov, VP & General Manager at Total Phase. “We hope this expansion of our part library allows more customers to take advantage of the quick and powerful programming solutions found in the Cheetah SPI adapter and its companion Flash Center Software.”

Visit Total Phase this week at the DesignWest Expo in San Jose, California at Booth 1824. Total Phase will be featuring a live demonstration of the quick programming of Spansion Serial Flash memory available with Total Phase products.
