My Aardvark device does not respond to the software after a firmware update. What do I do?

First unplug the Aardvark device and then re-attach it to your PC. If you are still unable to connect to the Aardvark device, it is possible that there was a problem during the firmware upgrade procedure. Don't worry -- your Aardvark device is still recoverable. Try the firmware upgrade utility again and if it is able to detect the Aardvark device, re-apply the firmware upgrade. This should restore your Aardvark device's functionality. If this does not work, try reverting to a previous version of the firmware. It should be available on the Total Phase website or on the software CD that shipped with your Aardvark device.
