How Can I Change the Response of an I2C Slave Based on what a Master Writes with the Aardvark Software API?

Question from the Customer:

I am trying to use the Aardvark I2C/SPI Host Adapter and Python API to emulate an I2C slave sensor that conditionally changes its response values depending on what the master device writes to it. When modifying the aai2c_slave.py code, I get a message with "error: non-I2C asynchronous message is pendin...

Can I send an SPI response of more than 256 bytes with the Promira Serial Platform?

Question from the Customer:

Our Promira Serial Platform is configured as a slave and is connected to a processor which acts as the master. The master sends 3 bytes of data on the MOSI and later reads 3 bytes and multiple dummy data bytes. The slave must then respond with the 3 bytes and the multiple dummy data bytes. The total...

Why am I Missing ACK Signals with the Aardvark I2C/SPI Host Adapter Using the Python API?

Question from the customer:

I am using the Aardvark I2C/SPI Host Adapter to imitate a temperature sensor on an I2C bus and am experiencing problems with request replies. I am using the Python API to reply to I2C requests. Everything seems to work fine until I decrease the delay between the requests to 1 ms.

The ACK signal is not bein...

What are the Differences of Single vs Dual vs Quad SPI?

About the SPI Protocol

It is a full-duplex protocol that requires four signals: clock, master out/s...
