- If possible, please send us a rough schematic and timing
diagram that demonstrates the problem you are experiencing.
- Information about your board.
- Voltage levels?
- What devices are under test (part number, etc.)?
- How is the Total Phase adapter connected to your target?
- If you are using an I2C bus, who is providing the pullup
resistors?
- If you are monitoring an I2C bus, what is the bitrate of
the communcation on the bus?
- If you are using an SPI bus, do you have weak pullup
resistors on all the relevant lines?
- Is the Total Phase adapter providing target power for your
downstream target?
- Host PC System
- What operating system are you using?
- What version of the Total Phase adapter are you using
(hardware, software and firmware)?
- How are you accessing your board?
- Control Center™ Software?
- LabView?
- custom code (C, Python, VB)?
- How are you using the Total Phase adapter?
- Passive monitor?
- As an I2C device (master or slave)?
- As an SPI device (master or slave)?
- Are there multiple masters on the bus?
- Can you outline the sequence of events?
- Do you have a known good I2C/SPI slave device? Do you have an
Activity Board?
